Our job is to be the best "connectors" we can be -- connecting students to opportunities to explore and expand on their passions...and connecting ourselves!
How wonderful to learn all of this as an elementary student and be prepared for the amazing technology still to come.
Technology engages us all and facilitates learning (organization and direction)
Keep students engaged so they want to be life long learners.
It is difficult deciding how kids learn best- traditionally or with technology.
Start young with technology to be self-directed, organized, and passionate learners.
Start small, move forward, and try not to be afraid.
Use your thumbs on the iPod (if you can!).
Self motivated, self organized and passionate learners are our future!
Start small and give learners the opportunity to engage with technology.
It is important for learners (adults and children) to become self directed in their learning. Technology provides many opportunities for this.
There are so many things to choose from. How do we find what works the best when our time is so full already?
There are so many ways to use technology in our professional development and classrooms....start small and be inspired...not overwhelmed.
Join technology and standards to motivate students.
Just start. That's the take-home, I think. Pick something little, and just do it.
