I would change the very end of the book because I would like another adventure to take place in the tollbooth.

I would change the part when Milo reaches the Doldrums because their is no part of the story that involves that place every other place helps support the story.

Cameron M. says

I would change the part when Milo and Tock find the Humbug...I think what is his purpose in the story, and I think he has no point being in the story.

I would change the ending of Phantom Tollbooth the same reason why someone would change the ending of a movie: You want to here more of the story.
