What were the political, social and economic effects of the WWII?

People had worries about the UN, especially since the League Of Nations had caused so much trouble before.
The world now had reason to dislike Germany as they had started another world war.
Many countries had been left weakened and were now feeling under threat.
Social:
Many lives had been lost in the war and many families were left without fathers, sons, etc.
Political:
Germany no longer owned all the countries that they had taken over before the war.
Political:
The Nazi party no longer existed as Hitler had shot himself.
Political:
The UN was introduced and, unlike the League Of Nations, America joined.
Political:
It was thought that the world was entering a new era of international relationships.
Political:
England and France were no longer considered great powers.
Economic:
England owed a lot of money to America.
Economic/social:
There was a shortage of men as they had been killed so there was a huge need for workers.
Economic:
There was a huge need for food to be produced and rationed.
Economic:
Munitions and Aircraft industries had a massive boost whilst other industries had to be put on hold.
Economic:
Many women were given jobs over the war but now they were back in the kitchens and the men had the jobs again.
