Doug's wall
A test to see how this thing works...

THIS WALL IS NOW LOCKED - THANKS FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS! :-)
Yes, you can make it so only you can access it. Can also embed it elsewhere! :-)
Interesting concept.
Presumably you could if you had Skitch ...
This seems like a good idea ... but can you moderate comments?
think I might be getting OCD..just tried to tidy this wall to see all the posts..LOL
What about as lesson-by-lesson 'backchannel' for asking questions? Could review at end of the lesson! :-)
You can lock it down via various parameters, Alan.
This is a bit too "open"? Either "anyone" or "only me" controls. Would be great to have a slightly more controlled environment. Neil
Hi Doug. Just popping by to see what this does. Neil
In spite of the annoying quotation marks, this would be really cool for a virtual chalk talk.
where's banksy when you need him?
I'm spending way too much mental energy being annoyed by the quotation marks around people's names.
How do ypu prevent abuse of this site?
Can you lock a wall at the end of a lesson or take a snap shot to ensure that it is accurately captured?
funny quote list, student responses to reading, virtual word wall, lots of possibilities
Students could post questions about topic areas they don't understand - (could be anonymous or named) for teacher to answer next lesson
What does it do with a YouTube link?
Testing this idea out
You can add various settings - I've allowed anyone to add!
Interesting, could do a session where different groups had different urls
Could be used to create character sketches, build story openings, collaborate on planning topic work. I like it. Good find.

So as long s you have the url you can add to the wall?
Great idea - would be very good for collaborative projects - students could add their learning points/research points etc here. Like it.
I was wondering if this could be used as a 'scratch pad' for students researching?

If you're reading these notes, please feel free to add your own to test it out!
Obviously you could have walls for individual students, but what about around certain topics? :-)
Let's see what it does with a link to my website...
