Worked on an adult / adult basis, inspired me and quietly allowed me to get on.
Making it clear they believe in you and actively supporting what you are putting in place whilst also helping you keep focused on learning and monitoring
Always start with needs of children. Filter all new initiatives through this vision.
Clear sense of direction provided. An open door to staff. Puts needs of pupils first. Must love the job.
Recognising that when you have good staff the best thing to do is just provide listening ear and let them get on with it.

Not losing touch with how things really are in the classroom - realising, & appreciating, the workload that most teachers have

Listening to and trying thoughts and ideas of staff and pupils alike!

Consistency and clarity when dealing with both staff and pupils
