Il faut bien se connaƮtre pour mieux connaƮtre les autres.

It's made me happy to have an American passport.
I have learned that, despite our physical and cultural differences we are all basically the same and all have the same human needs
We are all more alike than different; respect others; there are cultural reasons for who we are.
Travelling abroad has widened my mind and has given me the opportunity of strengthening my background as an ESL teacher.
I can look at cultures and ways of life with a more open mind and respect. I have also learned to put my own culture at a distance to reflect upon it.
That it is not because something is different that it is wrong, and that a lot more is linked with culture and language than we first think.
To respect others and accept different way of life, culture and ways of thinking.
It's given me a solid respect for other cultures, which has fostered in my students a healthier outlook about our increasingly global society.
I've learned to be more independent, tolerant, open, and appreciative. I've very proud to speak a second language and integrate into francophone culture.
