Technology Support
We've been talking about how teachers need support to be able to integrate technology into their content. Here's your chance to add to the wall... What does support look like in your district? How can it be improved?

Teachers should develop IPR projects that embed tech.

Encourage building tech reps to speak at faculty meetings. This would build relationships, be a way to solicite feedback, and pass on information.

I am a visual learner. How about setting up one day a month where teachers can observe other teachers in their classrooms and how they embed/integrate tech.

Some schools assign mentors to new teachers. Maybe tech mentors/partners can be assigned to new and experienced teachers needing tech support.

Encourage teachers to form their own tech support groups that meet regularly to share and support each other.

Many teachers need one-on-one support and encouragement especially when they initially turn to technology. Modeling for their specific subject area is wise.

In the middle and high schools how about having 'tech support' be a duty. 2-3 teachers in each building could assist other teachers during their duty periods.
