Pharaohs were the King or Queen of Eygpt. Most were men but some well known ones, Nefertiti & Cleopatra, were women. The most famous pharaoh was Tutankhamun.
I would love you to tell me about Egyptian art and clothing. Why did the Egyptians wear so much make up around their eyes?
