What did you not expect when you arrived at UCLan? What advice would you give a new student?

UCLan was everything I wanted although it was kinda scary at first!!!

Hi! meet as much people as u can!
Looking forward to starting, just wondered in the standard halls what should i bring? Also worried about making friends so any advice on either would be great.
Everyone should share their expeiences on TAG. New students starting in September will find it so usefull hearing advice from current students.
Explore places! This is going to be your home for the next few years!
Involve yourself in all projects available... E.g. Give it a go Proogramme!

Uclan is reali helpful 2, Jus sat in the 24hr Library, its 1am, c u nxt yr =)
