In Redefing Literacy 2.0, I was reminded that we should be leaders in helping student to have a learning lifestyle. I need to read Getting Things Done.

I enjoyed Getting Things Done and found I am fairly organized but always have room for improvement. I would be interested in reading Presentation Zen.
2 books I want to read
1) Getting Things Done I need it.
2) Presentation Zen I am recommending it to my brother too. He has a presentation for a National Org.

An idea that resounded with me was that we all must develop our own Personal Learning Network filled with people, books & websites.
The New Learning Commons was a thought provoking book on teaching and learning in the 21st century.
Getthing Things Done was helpful because it broke down things down into such simple steps. It has helped me already!
I liked the ideas presented by the Whole New Mind book that I went out and bought it last night. Can't wait to read it.

I presented David Allen's Getting Things Done. As a person always seeking an organized life both professionally and personally, I loved this book.
Redefining Literacy 2.0 has provoking thoughts about how to prepare students for the future. Also, I liked going to the websites.
I'd like to read the Presentationzen book because I'm always looking for ways to make those pesky ppts more interesting!

Presentationzen was really an eye opener for me. Being simplistic when creating a Power Point is very difficult, but the results are worth it.
I liked hearing about Redefining Literacy 2.0 because it is so exciting to see what possibilities are out there with technologies for our students to use!

I would like to read Redefining Literacy 2.0. We need to prepare out students for the future and we need to be prepared ourselves for what lies ahead.
Getting Things Done inspired me to get better organized and clean out cabinets and drawers. I feel like I have a better grasp on using my time wisely.
I read the Learning Commons. I like the concept of collaborating with the entire staff so that school resources are fully utilized. Getting Things Done.
A Whole New Mind was interesting and easy. I liked the activities to help develop our right brain senses. I can see where it will be important to the future.

A Whole New Mind has me thinking about how to direct my own daughter in the right direction for future jobs that do not exist right now.
I loved A Whole New Mind b/c I recognized myself on a lot of the pages. However, the world will always need two sides of the coin! I'm ready for a broader view!

In Getting Things Done, I enjoyed how do you prevent broken agreements with yourself. David Allen gave three ways to eliminate negative feelings.
The New Learning Commons: Where Learners Win! helped me realize/visualize where I want my library to "be" and what I have to do to get it there.
Presentation Zen has made me more aware of presentations! I was critiquing all the sessions I attended at TCEA! Hopefully, I'll do better on my own.
What I liked about Librarians as Learning Specialists was that it reinforced what we try to accomplish in the MISD library system. We are ahead of the curve!
I re-read David Allen's Getting Things Done. It was great to refresh my memory on his productivity system.
