Went to the Mosel Valley as a child. I remember going to vineyard and trying some wine. Didn't like it if I remember.
I went to Germany two weeks ago for a friend's wedding! Visited Landau, borders France, very near Strasbourg. What is it famous for producing? Clue in photo!

Walking through the Tiergarten in the middle of Berlin was wonderful. It wasn't like an English park - it was much wilder - like a forest in the city.
When I was 9 I went to visit family in Monzelfeld. I have not seen them since :( I also have relatives in Frankfurt and Berlin. I have also been to Cologne.
I went to Germany on a camping tour in 1975. In Munich it rained so hard we couldn't put the tents up and 47 of us had to sleep in the bus!

I took my children to the Christmas markets in Cologne some years ago - it was wonderful, with lots of gingerbread and hot mulled drinks.

30 years ago I lived and worked in Koblenz as an English teacher at the Inlingua Sprachschule. I visited lots of places whilst there including East Berlin.
